Revision rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure performed for patients who are not satisfied with the results of a previous rhinoplasty surgery or who encounter undesirable results. It is performed to correct deformities or functional problems that occur after the first rhinoplasty surgery. This surgery can be performed if the results obtained after the first surgery are not at the desired level and at least 1 year must pass after the first surgery. Revision rhinoplasty is usually a more complex procedure and may require additional methods such as cartilage grafts or tissue fillers that can be taken from the rib or ear in addition to surgical intervention. Since every patient and situation is different, it is important to consult with an experienced Otolaryngologist to determine if you are suitable for revision rhinoplasty.
